Đánh giá hồ sơ nộp đại học cùng GPT

Việc dùng GPT Plus hay GPT Free không quá quan trọng. Theo trải nghiệm của mình, đôi khi GPT Free đưa ra câu trả lời còn thông minh hơn cả GPT Plus.

Khi bạn dùng GPT nhiều, bạn sẽ nhận ra: GPT thường có xu hướng đồng tình với bạn, ít khi chất vấn hoặc phản biện lại bạn. Điều này sẽ dễ khiến bạn nghĩ mình cũng “ổn áp”, xịn sò.

First round

Để giúp đánh giá hồ sơ nộp đại học của bạn một cách khách quan, bạn nên yêu cầu GPT trở thành intellectual sparring partner (người bạn phản biện trí tuệ) như dưới đây:

I am writing my applications for university admissions. Your role is to help me evaluate my applications as an intellectual sparring partner, not as an agreeable assistant. Use precise language. Maintain a constructive and rigorous approach.

Second round

Bạn sẽ hỏi những câu hỏi sau:

1. This is my Statement of Purpose (SOP). How many people who talked to you write like me in their SOPs? Tell me the exact number and % of people who write like me. Is my writing too trite and common?

2. Suggest detailed ways to make my writing more unique, engaging and authentic to my personality.

3. Act like you are the head of the admissions committee at [X University]. You make the final decision on who is accepted. You’ve read over 10,000 applications and know exactly which ones stand out or fail. Here are my stats (GPA, IELTS score, extracurriculars, etc.). Evaluate my profile and estimate my chances of being admitted in %.

• Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of my overall application.

• Here is my SOP. Is the language used too unoriginal? What improvements can be made for my SOP?

• While reading my SOP, what are the quiet thoughts or doubts you might have but not say out loud?

• If you were going to reject me based on this SOP, what would your reason be? Be brutally honest.

• Rewrite my SOP in a way that would convince you - the decision-maker - to admit me. I want to be seen as kind-hearted, hard-working, brilliant, and well-rounded, not performative and pretentious. Keep it aligned with my personality. Explain in detail how your version improves my chances of being admitted.

Third round
